Village Life

The country of Fiji is located deep within the South Pacific. Fiji is made up of over 322 islands. The beauty, charm and hospitality of Fiji and her people is contrasted by its third world poverty.

Many villages lack electricity or modern conveniences. Islands are still unspoiled, as tradition carries on. There are village chiefs and village counsel. Men and women work the land and share in community living. Family and culture are strong influences in everyday life.
